This packs a punch at a fraction of the price of the top end premium vacuum cleaners.
If you want to avoid the hassle of cables and plugging in and out every time you hoover the house but you simply cannot afford to pay or you refuse to pay the very high prices of the top end vacuum cleaners then this is the kind of product that you should give consideration to.
What is it? The bottom line is that it is a Chinese copy of a Dyson. Its not as good as a Dyson but it costs about 10% of what you will pay for the best cordless vacuum cleaners and it will do the job it is supposed to do in most homes.
The best example we can give is that many people will buy an Apple Macbook Pro Laptop with a huge amount of storage capacity and a high level of RAM which is most suited for intensive power draining tasks such as video editing BUT they will only ever use it to browse the internet and store a few word documents.
They could of just bought a cheap laptop and saved £1000 or more and been able to do everything they want.
This vacuum cleaner is no different. Dyson and Shark and Bosch sell hoovers that have a phenomenal suction power that is second to none. They will pick up ingrained dirt and waste that other cleaners like this one will not be able to collect with just one pass of the cleaning head.
But what if your house is mostly clean and you don’t have loads of people wandering through your house all day and rubbing dirt into the carpet?
What if you don’t have 3 dogs permanently moulting and leaving their hair all over the house?
What if your house is normally quite clean and all you need is a hoover that will do the job it is supposed to do – pick up everyday dust and dirt that accumulates around the house?
Does this vacuum cleaner have the same amount of suction power as a Dyson? It most certainly does not.
However, it does cost a fraction of the price that you can expect to pay for a premium cordless vacuum cleaner and if will do the job it is supposed to do for most peoples needs.
Features and Benefits
One of the things that makes the premium cordless cleaners very expensive is the huge array of accessories that they come with so it’s actually quite refreshing to see that this cleaner comes with just 3 and they are pretty much the only 3 you would ever need anyway.
It comes with a long crevice tool for down the back of the sofa and your car, the round brush for worksurfaces and another one that will work well on stairs. That’s all you need anyway for 99% of jobs.
You get 2 speeds of suction – Normal and Turbo. The normal suction speed gives you around 40 minutes of use but to be honest you really need to be using this hoover on turbo mode to get good use out of it.
If you use it on Turbo you will be pleasantly surprised with how good this is for the money. The battery life will be reduced to 25 minutes so as long as you can get round your home in a 20-25 minute window this is going to work really well for you.
It does take 4 hours to fully recharge the battery so if it regularly takes you longer than 25 minutes to vacuum in one go then you should probably look at something more expensive.
You can easily pay the amount that this costs just for a handheld cleaner but this is very much a 2 in 1 with a one button push to disconnect the head from the main body and then simply clip in one of the 3 accessory tools for a ready to go handheld cleaner.
The waste container holds 0.5 litres before you need to empty it which is more than some of the much more expensive premium branded models.
It weighs 3kg and feels solid and durable and its covered by a 12 month guarantee which is standard for this type of product.
The head is also very versatile and turns smoothly at 90 degree angles to easily get in and out of hard to get to spots with no noticeable difference in ease of use compared to much more expensive hoovers.
One of the things we like about it is that you don’t need to keep your finger on the power button during use so you don’t have to keep your hand in exactly the same position all the time.
Press the on/off button once for normal suction, twice for turbo and again to turn it off.
Is it as good as a Dyson or Shark? No it’s not. If it was they would put Dyson out of business.
If you are a busy family with a big house with pets then this will probably not be suitable for you BUT if you live in an flat or apartment or a bungalow and it’s just you or two of you then this will certainly do a very good job of cleaning your home.
It doesn’t have the suction power of a Dyson or Shark but it doesn’t cost the price of a holiday to buy.
It has good suction and a good battery life that will be more than sufficient for most people’s everyday cleaning needs.
What this hoover offers is excellent value for money for a smaller home that doesn’t have people in muddy boots walking through it all day long.
This scores very highly out of 10 not because it is better than the most expensive vacuum cleaners but because it represents really good value for money for the price.
